Škoda Octavia IV appears as a vision of graphics. How close is it to the truth?

The fourth generation of the most popular Škoda’s model will be available this year. The first is a combo, but we have one pretty good liftbacky design.

For the vision of the fourth generation of the Octavia, the creator of Avarvarii is the creator you have been able to meet on our website several times. His design not only reflects the design of the latest products in the Mladá Boleslav brand, but also the words that came directly from behind the car.

The design independent design comes with a radiator mask with a distinctive chrome frame, much like the new Scaly and Kamiqu. It does not just fit the shape of the front diode headlamps to get more triangular shapes. On the stern, the vision of the fourth Octavia gets horizontally placed lamps extended in the outermost parts. The design is very similar to what we recently discovered in the Superbu onboard computer and what we consider to be the rear of the new Octavia. According to our information, there is another detail – the real version, unlike the virtual version, has a banner behind the logos with a winged arrow.

One of the attractions will be enjoyed by the fans of combis, which are countless in the Czech Republic. The new Octavia arrives first in this more practical package, the liftback will be delayed. A new generation premiere is scheduled for the end of this year.

The technical foundation will become the modernized modular platform MQB, with which more space and more crew space in both rows will come in hand. An increase in baggage of around 20 liters is also expected (some 610 l for the lift and 630 l for the combi).

The palette with engines will not bring any significant surprises – we expect the liters and fifteen-track TSIs, as well as the top two-liter, which will appear among other things in the RS version. Damage to the diesels, the 1.6 TDI and 2.0 TDI engines will not be missed. In some units, mild hybrids are calculated, ie 48V on-board. Alternative drives represent the CNG version, the plug-in hybrid, and more recently, there is more and more talk about a purely electric variant.
