This Is Newron Motors’ Incredible Curved-Wood Electric Motorcycle
“The thrill of being ‘one’ with your bike as an incarnation of you, and to feel the world as you never felt it – in total silence”
Newron
One of the most impressive motorcycle designs has just been unveiled. Newron, a French company, has designed an electric motorcycle that features an organically curved wooden bodywork and an outstanding cylinder battery.

Battery Design On Electric Motorcycles
Combustion motorcycle designs are often based around the shape of the motor. Over the last 120 years, combustion motors have become quite beautiful in many cases.
Electric motorcycles, on the other hand, have really just started to join the mainstream over the last 10 years. And many, if not most, still use the most obvious box shape for the giant battery packs, it’s almost impossible to create a beautiful motorcycle around a big box.

The Design
Newron is thinking outside of the ‘box’ with this new bike design. With a large cylindrical battery pack peeking through curved wooden frame elements, as it runs up at an angle from the middle of the bike. The curved wood bodywork pieces, give the bike an organic feel at the front end, where they’re used to cover carbon girder forks. In addition, strips of beautiful blue light accents cover the cylinder.
As the world evolves, so do we. we are constantly seeking new ways to enhance our technical and design offering to bring magic to the road and to the people. Our team has successfully built our second prototype and is en route to creating a customizable, exclusive, high-end motorcycle for the true connoisseurs who are seeking for a new experience and assets.

Future Plans
Newron is partnering with Dassault Systems and Advans Group in France, and the company has a goal to build 12 of these motorcycles in 2020. They have already worked through accelerator programs and Newron is currently designing some ride-mode intelligence into the bike. They plan to integrate a phone, particularly for predictive maintenance warnings and to inform you where you’re riding. This will allow riders to input their destination so that the bike can use power in the most efficient way.
